Friday January 27, 2017 6-8 PM
The Lowell PTO will host the Annual Lowell International Night on Jan. 27th, 2017. This is an evening to celebrate the great diversity of our community. The evening will begin with a Country Hall (gym); a place where parents host a table to showcase and share their culture and/or ancestry.
We are reaching out to see if you and your family or friends would like to host a country table. To do so we suggest decorating the table with maps, pictures, books, flags, etc., anything that you think might showcase your country. It can be as simple or elaborate as your time allows. This is an opportunity for Lowell students, teachers and parents to learn more about the many diverse cultures this world has to offer.
Always a favorite is the potluck dinner accompanying the event, where all parents are asked to bring in a native dish of their country to share with the rest of the school. You don’t need to host a table to bring in a dish.
You can either host the table yourself or host it with another family from the same country.
Please contact me if interested in hosting a table or with any questions:

Mark this down as something I would never make a request for:
WE NEED DUCT TAPE!
I plan on being duct taped to the wall on Friday Morning.
However, I am a little bigger than your average principal, so we will need A LOT of duct tape. If you have some spare tape or could purchase some, the kids will really get a kick out of it.
