A Fun Weekend and Looking Ahead

 Hello Lowell Community,

What a fun event yesterday.  The Color Run, which took place at the Hosmer School, helped raise money for all three elementary schools.

Above, you can see our top four finishers #GirlPower and myself after being bombarded by some current and former students.

Special thanks to the Fitzpatrick family and Lowell PTO for organizing!

HAPPENING THIS WEEK:

Our school has begun MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) testing in many of the grades.  It is a three week testing window in which we can only have two classrooms going at once.  We will be testing our students in Math and Reading.  We will then test them again in the winter and spring to mark progress.  Tests generally take about an hour.  We will use this data to aid in creating some of our grouping moving forward.

HAPPY WELLNESS WEEK!
This morning, Ms. Donahue, Ms. Loguidice, and I led the whole school in 10 jumping jacks right after the pledge.  We will be continuing this the rest of the week.  If you have any fun ideas for that LET ME KNOW!

School Site Council:

This week we will be having our first School Site Council Meeting on Tuesday (10/4) at 7pm.

Here is the agenda for the meeting:
Agenda
